Oxford’s ‘Best Psychiatrist’ now seeing patients in Madison

Residents of Madison and the Jackson metro area have access to quality, physician-led mental health services with the arrival of Katherine Pannel, DO, at Right Track Medical Group’s Madison clinic.

Right Track is a network of outpatient mental health clinics serving patients in Mississippi and Alabama. The clinic’s model is designed to intervene before a mental illness reaches a crisis level when inpatient treatment can be necessary. When patients call for their first appointment, Right Track Medical Group is committed to seeing them the same day or the next day.

“Our goal is first and foremost to address the needs of anyone that may be struggling and ensure they get quick access to care to help cope with and prevent long-term mental health problems,” said Dr. Pannel. “I look forward to bringing this approach to the residents of Madison and the greater Jackson area.”

Dr. Pannel serves as the Medical Director of Right Track Medical Group and was recently recognized as the Best Psychiatrist in Oxford and a Mississippi Business Journal Healthcare Hero. She is heavily involved in mental health treatment and is a member of several patient health associations, including Physicians for Mississippians, Physicians for Patient Protection and Physicians Working Together. She has championed various initiatives for patient care and has nearly 10 years of experience working across the Southeast.

Right Track Medical Group serves patients of all ages.
