Right Track Medical Group brings quality outpatient mental healthcare to Biloxi

Right Track Medical Group provides individualized care for depression, anxiety, stress and other mental health needs

Nearly one in five adults in the United States live with a mental illness, and often, a majority never receive treatment or support.

Right Track Medical Group is committed to removing the barriers to care that keep so many from seeking the help they need — and they’re now seeing patients in their newest Gulf Coast area clinic. 

Launched in 2018, Right Track Medical Group is a physician-led outpatient mental healthcare clinic with locations throughout the Southeast, including Madison, Miss., Oxford, Miss., Starkville, Miss., and Tuscaloosa, Ala. Their new Biloxi location officially opened on October 6 with a ribbon-cutting hosted by the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce.

Part of Right Track's mission is to intervene before a mental illness reaches a crisis level. Often, this begins with the first phone call.

“We are honored to be in Biloxi and want to offer quicker access to patient care and outcomes for people in the Gulf Coast,” said Dr. Stephen Pannel, DO, ABPN, ABAM, psychiatrist and Chief Medical Officer of Right Track Medical Group. “We are also lucky enough to be able to provide patients care within 24 to 48 hours of their initial phone call.”

Right Track treats patients of all ages, from children to adults. Their services include psychiatric evaluation and medication management, as well as individual and family therapy and coping skills groups. All services are available at one location, eliminating fragmented care and speeding progress in treatment.

The clinic also has licensed professional counselors overseeing its call centers to speak with potential patients reaching out to make an appointment. 

"People are intimidated and have questions that need to be answered before their first appointment," said Dean Dotty, Operations Manager at Right Track Medical Group. “We invite patients to not only ask questions but often elicit questions that can help them get to the root of their fear."

Right Track Medical Group is now accepting appointments for medication management, psychiatric assessments and private mental health counseling at its Biloxi clinic, which will be located at 1641 Popp's Ferry Rd Suite A3, down the street from Youth Villages.
