Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update From Dr. Katherine Pannel, Medical Director of Right Track Medical Group

Right Track Medical Group values the safety of its patients and staff above all else. As we navigate through this time of uncertainty, we look to the experts in our state for guidance.

At this time, Mississippi is under a state of emergency and it has been recommended by the State Health Officer, Dr. Thomas Dobbs, that all non-essential or emergent clinic appointments be rescheduled. However, we not only know the importance of routine mental healthcare but also how important it is during this stressful time. As a result, Right Track Medical Group will continue to provide mental health services via telepsychiatry. As this is a rapidly evolving situation, Gov. Tate Reeves is allowing physicians and nurse practitioners to use telephone appointments as a form of telepsychiatry. Note that your appointment will remain on the same day and time as it was scheduled for the in-office visit. You will receive a call from your provider at that time to receive psychiatric services. Please make sure that the office has your correct contact number.

Thank you for your patience as we provide the best outpatient mental healthcare possible while remaining safe. We will continue to monitor this dynamic situation and take appropriate preventative measures in the best interests of our patients and employees. For more information or to schedule a telepsychiatry appointment, please call our office at (662)-234-7601.
