Right Track Medical Group expands quality, outpatient mental healthcare to Columbus
Golden Triangle area residents now have access to individualized care for anxiety, depression and other mental health needs
Nearly one in five adults in America is living with a mental illness, and 16 million adults have experienced some form of depression in the last year. Unfortunately, a majority never receive treatment or support.
Right Track Medical Group is committed to removing the barriers to care that keep so many from seeking the help they need — and they’re now seeing patients in their newest Golden Triangle area clinic.
Launched in 2018, Right Track Medical Group is a physician-led outpatient mental health clinic with 11 locations throughout the Southeast, including Starkville, Miss., Hattiesburg, Miss., and Madison, Miss. The Columbus location officially opened on February 1 and is now seeing patients.
Part of Right Track's mission is to eliminate fragmented care and intervene before a mental illness reaches a crisis level when inpatient treatment can be necessary. Patients are treated by a collaborative team that includes a psychiatrist, therapist and nurse practitioner, which reduces the chance for misdiagnosis or mistreatment and speeds up treatment progress.
Right Track treats patients of all ages, from children to adults. Their services include psychiatric evaluation and medication management, as well as individual and family therapy.
